Mia Chung's play Catch as Catch Can was produced by Playwrights Horizons in fall 2022; the world premiere was produced by Page 73 in fall 2018. Her play You for Me for You (Bloomsbury Methuen Drama) had a UK premiere at the Royal Court Theatre, a Korean premiere at the National Theatre Center of Korea, a U.S. premiere at Woolly Mammoth Theatre, and multiple productions around the country.

While at MacDowell, she worked on a play about measurement and value, and a music-theatre work about the Korean War.
