Michael Chelminski has a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. from Yale University, with studies under Josef Albers, Bernard Chaet, and Louis Finkelstein. He did residencies at MacDowell, the Crescent H Ranch in Wyoming, and the Blue Mountain Center in New York. Chelminski has been in numerous exhibitions, most recently at the Sleeth Gallery at Wesleyan College, The Kosciuszko Foundation in NY, the Trenton Art Museum, and the Indiana University Art Gallery. His work is also in collections at Indiana University Art Museum, Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Art, and Yale University Art Museum, as well as various private collections throughout the United States.
