Mo Kong is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher. They received M.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design and have had solo exhibitions at CUE Art Foundation, Artericambi Gallery, Gertrude Gallery, and Chashama. Their work has been included in the Queens Museum, RISD Museum, SFMOMA, Minnesota Street Project, Spring Break, ARTISSIMA, Make Room Gallery, and Rubber Factory Gallery.

They’ve received Fellowships from Skowhegan, Triangle Art Association, MASS MoCA Studio, Vermont Studio Center, Gibney Performance Center, Lighthouse Works, and AAI.

Their work has been mentioned in Hyperallergic, Artforum, Cultured, Artnews, CoBo Social, Wall Street International, and SFMoMA, among others.

During their 2022 Fellowship at MacDowell, Kong worked on research and writing for “Swift Island Chain,” their third permutation of Personal Ark®. The first and second projects from the series were shown in the Queens Museum and Cuchifritos Gallery in New York.
