Nadia Coen is an inter-disciplinary creative director and designer with extensive experience in communication graphics including environmental, experiential, and cutting-edge exhibitions. Her work aims to engage art, design, architecture, culture, and social consciousness, both in spatial environments and on the page. Coen has worked on a number of innovative start up brand projects as well as numerous high-profile museum experiences and branded environments. Her work encompasses ideation, content, curation, identity, books, and collateral pitch presentations into large-scale environmental experiences in order to urge viewers to think outside the box and excite their senses. She has a history of collaboration with globally recognized architecture and exhibition design firms, including Ralph Appelbaum Associates, Thinc Design, ESI design, Sumo Architects, and Perkins+Wills.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Coen has been living in New York and practicing art and design for over 15 years. As a visual artist, her work has been exhibited and acquired by numerous museums and collections all over the world, such as MoMA, Paul Getty Foundation, Pompidou Center in France, and more. Recent group exhibitions have been at the Whitney Museum of Art (2013) and the BMW Guggenheim Lab (2011).

Originally a working barn perched atop the namesake hill of Hillcrest Farm, this building was converted to serve the arts in 1956.
