Nadja Spiegelman's first adult book, I'm Supposed to Protect You from All This, was published in August 2016. She is also the author of three comics for children. She has always dreamed of saying she "divides her time" in a bio, and so she tries to do so between Paris and Brooklyn.
At MacDowell, she wrote the first chapters of a new novel, tentatively titled So Much Freedom. She also wrote several short stories and worked on the second volume of RESIST! – a women-centered publication of political comics that she co-edits along with New Yorker Art Director Francoise Mouly. Volume 2 was released in the summer of 2017.
Nadja Spiegelman worked in the Delta Omicron studio.
Delta
Omicron Studio was funded by members of the international musical fraternity in
1927. The building design is somewhat medieval in character, with an
unusual cedar shingle pattern, a steeply pitched slate roof,
intersecting gables, and small windows.
After
a 2016 deep-energy renovation, Delta Omicron is now one of the most energy
efficient studio on the property…
