Nick Kocz worked on a first novel, titled HANDWRITING IN AMERIKA. His short stories have appeared in a number of literary magazines, including Beloit Fiction Journal, Conjunctions, The Portland Review, and Red Rock Review. He is also the fiction editor for Sotto Voce and coedited the fall 2008 issue of The New River, a hypertext journal. He is the winner of the 2016 Washington Square Fiction Award.
