Nicki Marx is an American, self-taught artist who has had more than 40 one-person and museum exhibitions. Her work is in many important museum, private, and public collections and she is honored in Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Art, Who's Who of American Women and the World Who's Who of Women, as well as in many other books and publications. She works exclusively with natural materials. Marx has lived in New Mexico for more than 40 years. She has exhibited work in Taos w/Tally Richards, Lumina, Hulse/Warman Gallery, and the Harwood Museum. Her works are in several public and private collections around the country, and have been featured in numerous publications.

Mixter

Nicki Marx worked in the Mixter studio.

Built in 1927–1930, the Florence Kilpatrick Mixter Studio was funded by its namesake and designed by the architect F. Winsor, Jr., who also designed MacDowell's original Savidge Library in 1925.
