Paul Frederick Kluge is an American novelist living in Gambier, OH. He was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Kenyon College, where he now teaches creative writing. He also earned an M.A. and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Chicago and then served in the Peace Corps for two years in Micronesia. Kluge is the author of several novels as well as a non-fiction work about his time as a student and teacher at Kenyon College. Two of his works have been made into films. He also worked as a reporter at the Wall Street Journal and as an editor of LIFE Magazine. His writing has appeared in numerous publications, including, Playboy, Rolling Stone, and Smithsonian. Kluge specializes in the reading and writing of American literature and currently works as a reporter, writer, and professor.
