Pamela Kircher was born in Marion, Indiana and moved to Columbus, OH at age one. She earned her M.F.A. from Warren Wilson College. Her poetry has been published in the Ohio Review, Georgia Review, American Poetry Review, and Alaska Quarterly Review, among others. She is the recipient of four Ohio Arts Council fellowships, a MacDowell Fellowship, and a feature in Best American Poetry 1996. She has taught workshops at Thurber House, Winter Wheat Writing Conference, and Gemini Ink. She currently lives in the countryside northwest of Columbus.
