Pati Scobey is a Michigan-based visual artist working in the book form. Pati received a WSW production grant to create her artist’s book Internal Change #1, a colorful accordion-folded lithograph on handmade paper that constructs a narrative of change. Pati holds an M.F.A. in printmaking from University of Wisconsin-Madison and has taught courses and intensive workshops at institutions and organizations across the U.S. She is the former Koopman Distinguished Chair at the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford.

The Graphics Studio (as it was originally named) was converted to its present use in 1972–1974 through a grant from the Putnam Foundation, and originally served the property as both a power house and pump house.
