Patrick Stoyanovich worked on a symphony for brass and percussion and a new work for voices and orchestra in celebration of the Nativity for the Saint Cecilia Festival. As Composer-in-Residence for Saint James Cathedral (Seattle) he completed Seven Last Words for chorus, orchestra, and organ.

Youngstown Studio was given to MacDowell by friends of Miss Myra McKeown in Youngstown, OH, where she promoted both art and music.
