Phoebe Adams has been the recipient of many awards and she has exhibited her work in numerous one-person and group shows over the last 35 years. Her work is in the collection of numerous public collections; The Brooklyn Museum, Solomon Guggenheim Museum, and Philadelphia Museum of Art to name a few. Most recently Adams has been making works on paper that address our feelings of dread and loss that are generated from the Climate Crisis.
Using images from land deforestation, during the first iteration of Virtual MacDowell in 2020, Adams made paintings for an upcoming exhibition in New York City.
