Rachel Zucker is the author of nine books, most recently MOTHERs, a memoir, and The Pedestrians, a double collection of poetry and prose. She is the founder and host of the long-form podcast Commonplace: Conversations with Poets (and Other People), and she teaches at NYU.

While at MacDowell, she radically revised, reordered, and expanded a series of lectures for a book of lecturessays called The Poetics of Wrongness, which is to be published in Spring 2019. She also wrote one new long poem that she read at Toadstool Bookstore and recorded two Commonplace (podcast) conversations with other MacDowell Fellows.
