Richard Jordan is a playwright currently developing two new plays about intimacy in the digital age. He completed a Ph.D. in creative writing at the University of Queensland. His first major play, 25 Down, won the Queensland Premier's Drama Award in 2009 and was produced by Queensland Theatre Company.

Richard Jordan worked in the Mansfield studio.
The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club.
