Lisa Hein and Bob Seng are Brooklyn artists who collaborate on site projects. They may resume experiments with the expressive possibilities of irrigation. However, local conditions may prove even more compelling. They are two-time NYFA Fellows in Architecture and Environmental Structures.

Robert Seng worked in the Heinz studio.
The icehouse, built of fieldstone in 1914–1915, was a practical part of Marian MacDowell’s plan for a self-sufficient farm.
