While at MacDowell, Samuel Nigro, whose essay, "Strategy is the Status Quo" was published in PAJ: a journal of Performance and Art in January 2003, worked on a new series of essays, one of which is entitled, "Dilemma of Gender- Dilemma of Strain". In addition, he worked on a series of videos to accompany the 7- ton block of Granite used in, "Legs locked in Granite" shown at Socrates Sculpture Park, Queens, NY, May 2002.
