Sandra Burns received a B.F.A. from Parsons School of Design in 1999 and an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Art in 2001. She is currently a lecturer at the Yale School of Art in the sculpture department. She is the recipient of the Chenven Foundation Grant, a Northampton Arts Council Grant, the Munson Award, and the Vermont Studio Center Clowes Fellowship. She has held exhibitions at The Norfolk Gallery (New Haven, CT), the Holcombe T. Green Gallery, Yale University (New Haven, CT), and elsewhere.
