Sandy Tseng is the author of Sediment, a collection of poetry published by Four Way Books in October 2009. Her work has appeared in Crab Orchard Review, Crazyhorse, Fugue, Hunger Mountain, The Nation, Third Coast, and other journals. Her poems have been anthologized in New America: Contemporary Literature for a Changing Society (Autumn House Press, 2012) and Yellow as Turmeric, Fragrant as Cloves (Deep Bowl Press, 2008). Her awards include The Nation's 2006 Discovery Award, the Louis Untermeyer scholarship from the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and the Vira I. Heinz Foundation scholarship, among others.

Sandy Tseng worked in the Chapman studio.
Chapman Studio was funded by Mrs. Alice Woodrough Chapman in memory of her husband, composer George Alexander Chapman. Symmetrically massed, the building is stuccoed on the exterior with a natural, unpainted cement. Its unusual half-timbered ornament consists of slender, knotty spruce poles painted a dark green color. A central, peak-roofed entrance porch appears on the north side…
