Sarah DeLappe is a playwright, screenwriter, and television writer. Her play The Wolves premiered off-Broadway in 2016, and was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize in Drama. It was one of the most produced plays of 2018 and 2019 and has since been performed all over the world. She also wrote A24's movie Bodies Bodies Bodies.

While at MacDowell, DeLappe has worked on several theatre projects including The Wolves, and commissions by theaters like Lincoln Center, Playwrights Horizons, and Atlantic.

Sarah DeLappe worked in the Sprague-Smith studio.

In January of 1976, the original Sprague-Smith Studio — built in 1915–1916 and funded by music students of Mrs. Charles Sprague-Smith of the Veltin School — was destroyed by fire.
