Scott Starrett has composed original music for award-winning feature films and television. According to The Boston Globe, his music possesses "an attractively dappled quality as contrasting gestures interrupt and overlap each other."

Starrett's recent composing credits include VH1's scripted drama Daytime Divas, Fox's medical drama The Mob Doctor, NBC's conspiracy-thriller series The Event, as well as the score for all six seasons of Lifetime's dramatic-comedy series Drop Dead Diva. Starrett's film credits include scoring the HBO feature Dim Sum Funeral and the Apollo astronaut feature documentary The Wonder of It All. He has also collaborated as a composer-orchestrator with Michael Kamen on HBO's From the Earth to the Moon and MTV's Bryan Adams Unplugged as well as creating musical arrangements for Lisa Loeb.

Van Zorn (formerly Kirby)

Scott Starrett worked in the Van Zorn (formerly Kirby) studio.

Constructed thanks to a bequest from Sarah L. Kirby, Kirby Studio was the last new building to be erected during Mrs. MacDowell’s leadership (1907-1951).
