Sean Downey worked on a new body of paintings and sculptures. He had a recent solo exhibition at LaMontagne Gallery in Boston, and is a cofounder of the artist collaborative kijidome. Downey was a recipient of the 2014 Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellowship.

Sean Downey worked in the Heinz studio.
The icehouse, built of fieldstone in 1914–1915, was a practical part of Marian MacDowell’s plan for a self-sufficient farm.
