Shane Bauer is currently working on a book based on his undercover reporting in a private prison in Louisiana, where he was hired as a corrections officer. He is a senior reporter at Mother Jones magazine and co-author of the memoir A Sliver of Light about the two years he and two friends were held captive in Iran.
