Shayla Lawson is the author of the chapbook Pantone (Miel Books, 2016) and a longer solo poetry collection I Think I'm Ready to See Frank Ocean (Saturnalia Books, 2018). They recently completed the manuscript for their fourth collection, Ti Ador(n)o, for which they received a Giorgio Cini Foundation fellowship in 2013. Lawson was also a 2017 Oregon Literary Award Fellow.
While in residence, Lawson worked on a collaborative collection of epistle poems with their “dopplenamer,” poet Chet'la Sebree.

Lodge Annex, a wing on the west side of the men’s dormitory (The
