Shelley Berc is a playwright, novelist, and creativity expert. She is cofounder of The Creativity Workshop, which teaches people from all professions and walks of life how to access, nurture, and expand their creativity. Berc is coauthor of Jumpstart Your Creativity in 15 Minutes a Day and author of the novels The Shape of Wilderness and Light and Shadow.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club.
