Sierra Nelson worked on new poems and other collaborative material for a project with visual artist Loren Erdrich. Her previous chapbook with Erdrich, I Take Back the Sponge Cake, won NYU's Washington Square Award for Collaboration and was released in March 2012.

Funded by the Phi Beta Fraternity, a national professional fraternity of music and speech founded in 1912, Phi Beta Studio was built between 1929–1931 of granite quarried on the MacDowell grounds.
