Stan Brodsky is an American abstract painter and educator. Born in Brooklyn, he currently iives and works on Long Island. Brodsky studied in Missouri and Iowa after fighting in World War II and returned to the New York area for his doctorate. He has been an exhibiting artist in New York for more than 50 years and “my passion for painting is as strong now as ever,” he says. He has traveled extensively, absorbing the colors and textures of new landscapes.
