Stephen Michael "Steve" Erickson is an American novelist. The recipient of the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature and a fellowship from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, he is the only Southern California novelist to win the Lannan Lifetime Achievement Award. Erickson is the author of 10 novels (including Shadowbahn, Zeroville, and These Dreams of You) that have been published in 11 languages, and for 14 years he was founding editor of the national literary journal Black Clock. He is a distinguished professor at the University of California, Riverside.
