I work with a variety of media, re-contextualizing found and constructed drawings, texts, photographs, films, and audio to create inconclusive narratives within the contexts of historiography and storytelling.
While in residence at MacDowell (March - April 2014) I began work on an audio and video installation. One Day was inspired by the notion of a portrait as an aggregate -- charting a geography or ecology of the relationships we have with the people connected to our lives: situating ourselves in a particular time and place in relation to others - whether a close friend or stranger.
