Sydney-based playwright Suneeta Peres da Costa's second novel, Oblivion, upon which she worked during her time at MacDowell, is currently being negotiated by Heat (Australia). Her previous novel was Homework (Bloomsbury, 1999). She has a radio play, The Art of Straying, on the life and death of Walter Benjamin, due for broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2001.
