Susan Benner is an American journalist and writer. She has written about art for AdobeAirstream.com and in ArtWeek. Benner received her B.A. in communications at Stanford University. She has written about travel for The New York Times and about books for the San Francisco Chronicle. Additionally, she has published articles about fiction in Sequoia, Stanford's literary magazine, and about organizational issues in emerging companies, mostly high tech and in the West, for Inc. magazine, and about the intersections of tech companies and the communities in which they operate, also for Inc.

The yellow clapboard New Jersey Studio, located on a grassy, sloping site, was funded by the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs and built as an exact replica of Monday Music Studio (1913).
