Susan Sartarelli (1952-2013)
An accomplished artist and painter, Susan had multiple shows of her original works in such European cities as Rome, Venice and Madrid, as well as at the Trumbull Art Gallery in Warren. A number of her paintings were acquired as well by local institutions and collectors, including Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Susan Sartarelli worked in the Adams studio.
Given to the MacDowell Association by Margaret Adams of Chicago, the half-timbered, stuccoed Adams Studio was designed by MacDowell Fellow and architect F. Tolles Chamberlin ca. 1914.
