Susanna Daniel is the author of two published novels, Stiltsville and Sea Creatures, and one forthcoming novel, The Year We Nearly Drowned, all of which are set in South Florida, where she was born and raised. She lives in Madison, WI, and coowns a private writing studio. Her time is shared between writing, teaching, and parenting two young boys.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club.
