Ted Huffman is a theater and opera director originally from New York City who spends most of his time in London. In residence he worked with composer Philip Venables on a new piece based on Larry Mitchell's The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions. Their previous work, an adaptation of Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis for the Royal Opera House, won the UK Theatre Award for Achievement in Opera.

Van Zorn (formerly Kirby)

Ted Huffman worked in the Van Zorn (formerly Kirby) studio.

Constructed thanks to a bequest from Sarah L. Kirby, Kirby Studio was the last new building to be erected during Mrs. MacDowell’s leadership (1907-1951).
