Terry Reis Kennedy is an American poet, publisher, Tibetologist, and journalist. She received a B.A. in English Literature from Regis College in Massachusetts and an M.A. from Goddard College in Vermont. She writes on modern-day spiritual Tibetan culture as well as on teachings of the Dalai Lama, the Karmapa, and Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. She is the author of four books of poetry, a fictional memoir, and numerous essays, poems, and articles. Such works have appeared in Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, New York Times, Houston Post, and Guideposts. Reis Kennedy is also the recipient of fellowships from Villa Montalvo, MacDowell, and Barbara Dunning.
