Victoria Lancelotta is the author of Here in the World: 13 Stories, and the novels Far and Coeurs Blesses. She has worked as an editor for The Georgetown Review and The Mississippi Review and her fiction has appeared in AGNI, Glimmer Train, The Threepenny Review, The Mississippi Review, The Best American Short Stories, nerve.com, McSweeney’s, and more. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Florida in 1994.
Lancelotta earned fellowships and visiting scholarships at MacDowell, the Djerassi Resident Artists' Program, and the 1997 Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. She has also received a Tennessee Individual Artist Fellowship, two Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Grants, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and the Henfield Transatlantic Award. Today, she lives in Frederick, Maryland.
