Wendy Klemperer is an artist with a who earned a B.S. in chemistry at Harvard and a B.F.A. in sculpture at Pratt Institute. Her work has been exhibited heavily in New York as well as throughout the United States. She has large-scale installations in California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and more. Klemperer is the recipient of residencies and grants from the Skowhegan School, MacDowell, Ucross, Denali National Park, Sculpture Space, IKONS, and Stanislaus National Forest. She has also taught welded sculpture for over a decade, annually teaches a workshop at the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center in Vermont, and has been a visiting artist and lecturer at universities across the country
