Yuly Restrepo completed the rough draft and first round of revisions for her first novel while at MacDowell. It is set in her native Colombia. Her short fiction has recently appeared in the journal Zone 3.

Van Zorn (formerly Kirby)
Yuly Restrepo worked in the Van Zorn (formerly Kirby) studio.
Constructed thanks to a bequest from Sarah L. Kirby, Kirby Studio was the last new building to be erected during Mrs. MacDowell’s leadership (1907-1951).
