Zulema Renee Summerfield is a writer living in Portland, Oregon. Her short stories have appeared, most recently, in Guernica and The Threepenny Review. Everything Faces All Ways At Once, a collection of flash fiction and dreams, was published in 2010. At MacDowell, she completed final edits on her manuscript Every Other Weekend, which was to be published by Little, Brown in spring 2018. Additionally, she made significant progress on a new novel, tentatively titled The Sisterhood of the Talking Board.
